Every MOTS-c protocol on file, 16 in all, labelled by where each number came from. 1 have titration steps, each step is worked out in U-100 units for a 10 mg vial + 0.5 mL water.
Note: The most cited starting plan. No human dose is established. FDA found no human exposure data for MOTS-c by any route.
Note: Shown as a weekly amount only. Split across 1 to 3 shots, it lines up with the intermittent plans.
Note: The guide repeats the cycle 2 to 3 times a year as maintenance.
Timing: 1 to 2 hours before training.
Timing: Within 60 minutes after a workout.
Timing: Morning, fasted, before the first meal. One guide says morning because it may interfere with sleep.
Note: Most run 5 mg per shot; some go to 10 mg.
Timing: Morning or before exercise.
Note: Repeated 2 to 4 times a year.
| When | Dose | U-100 units (10 mg vial + 0.5 mL water) |
|---|---|---|
| Weeks 1 to 2 | 200 mcg | 1 units · 0.01 mL |
| Weeks 3 to 4 | 400 mcg | 2 units · 0.02 mL |
| Weeks 5 to 6 | 600 mcg | 3 units · 0.03 mL |
| Weeks 7 to 8 | 800 mcg | 4 units · 0.04 mL |
| Weeks 9 to 10 | 1,000 mcg | 5 units · 0.05 mL |
Note: The guide calls this math only, not a recommendation. It sits well below what most users run.
Timing: Morning. Late doses are commonly reported on r/Peptides to wreck sleep.
Note: One writer suggests starting at 0.5 to 1 mg a day and working up over a couple of weeks. The 2 mg report came from a user also on retatrutide who saw low glucose.
Who: One r/Peptides user.
Note: Worked up from 0.5 mg to 1 mg to 2 mg. At 2 mg they were awake until 3 AM, so they settled at 1.5 mg every other day.
Who: One r/Peptides user.
Note: The user said it took about 6 weeks to kick in.
Timing: Morning.
Note: Shown as a weekly total. Run alongside AOD-9604 by the poster.
Timing: Run after an SS-31 block or alternated with it.
Note: Three separate users from 2026 threads.
Note: A 10 mg version runs 3 shots a week, then 10 mg weekly for 4 weeks. Users repeat it 1 to 2 times a year.

Calculate with this peptideYour vial, your water, your dose: MOTS-c in syringe units, with the math shown.Diluent: Bacteriostatic water
Water volumes sources use: 0.5 mL, 1 mL, 2 mL, 3 mL
One guide says 1 to 2 mL per vial depending on dose. 10 mg is the most common vial. Some users report a mix turning milky white overnight, or vials arriving with no vacuum and particles after mixing. Do not share a syringe with another peptide.
Dosing guides say skip a missed dose and do not double up. A clinic guide for the every-5-days cycle says inject when you can and count the next 5 days from that shot.
There is no established human dose. FDA found no human exposure data for MOTS-c by any route. Two camps dominate. Dosing guides favor 5 mg 2 to 3 times a week, or 5 to 10 mg a week in total, run in cycles. A daily camp on r/Peptides runs 0.5 to 2 mg a day. On one tracking site, self-reported shots have a median of 2 to 3 mg, with 5 mg and up the most common bucket.
1 to 3 times a week is the guide standard. A clinic plan uses every 5 days for 4 shots over 20 days. The daily camp injects once a day or every other day.
1 mL (10 mg per mL) or 2 mL (5 mg per mL) are the most common. At 1 mL, 5 mg is 50 units on a U-100 syringe. Some use 0.5 mL (5 mg is 25 units) or 3 mL. Use the calculator for any other mix.
Nobody has data on it. Users who go looking find no literature, and one guide calls cycling precautionary. Rest periods in guides range from 4 weeks to 4 months.
In the fridge, claims run from 2 to 7 days (a supplier note quoted by FDA) to 30 days. Most guides say 2 to 4 weeks. Never freeze it. Users ask whether a 40 mg vial can last a month after mixing; nobody has tested research vials.
Users report MOTS-c turning milky white overnight in the fridge, and some vials arriving with no vacuum and particles after mixing. No authoritative answer exists.
Mostly mice. Studies used 0.5 mg/kg a day by injection into the belly cavity for 8 weeks, 5 mg/kg a day, and 15 mg/kg 3 times a week late in life. Body-surface conversion to a 70 kg adult gives anything from low single-digit milligrams to about 28.5 mg, depending on the guide. These are not human doses.
