How a blend vial works
A blend is several peptides dried into one vial. Once you add water they dissolve together, so every drop carries every peptide in the same fixed ratio. You cannot draw the BPC-157 and leave the GHK-Cu behind.
That means you only ever choose one number: the dose of one peptide, or the dose of the whole blend. Everything else follows from the ratio. The calculator works out the units for that number and lists what the same draw carries of each of the others.
Whole blend or one peptide: read the protocol twice
Blend protocols are written two ways. Some give the whole blend, like "2 mg of KLOW" (source 2). Others list each peptide on its own line, like "250 mcg BPC-157" (source 1). One BPC-157/TB-500 guide spells out that its 500 mcg means 500 mcg of total blend, not of each peptide (source 3).
The difference is not small. On a BPC-157 5 mg + TB-500 5 mg vial in 3 mL, 500 mcg of the whole blend is 15 units. 500 mcg of BPC-157 alone is 30 units. Same words, a different draw.
Pick Whole blend when the protocol names the blend, and One peptide when it names a single compound. When you choose a dose reference from our data, the calculator sets the matching mode for you and checks your dose against that range.
Worked example: KLOW
A KLOW vial in our data holds GHK-Cu 50 mg, BPC-157 10 mg, TB-500 10 mg, KPV 10 mg, so 80 mg in all (source 1).
- Whole blend, 2 mg in 4 mL. That is 10 units on a U-100 syringe (0.1 mL). The draw carries 1.25 mg GHK-Cu, 250 mcg BPC-157, 250 mcg TB-500 and 250 mcg KPV.
- One peptide, 500 mcg of BPC-157 in 3 mL. That is 15 units on a U-100 syringe, and the rest ride along: 2.5 mg GHK-Cu, 500 mcg TB-500 and 500 mcg KPV. The vial gives 20 doses like that.
Questions
Is a 2 mg KLOW dose 2 mg of each peptide?
No. It is 2 mg of all of them together. The worked example above shows how that splits, using the vial's own ratio.
How much water should I add?
The math works for any volume. Water changes how many units a dose takes, not how much peptide is in it. For the same 80 mg KLOW vial our sources use 2, 2.5, 3, 4 and 5 mL (sources 1 and 2 use 3 and 4 mL). Pick a volume that puts your dose on a clean mark of your syringe, then keep it the same for every vial.
Why do I see a warning about a peptide I am not dosing?
A dose reference written for one peptide is checked against what your draw gives that peptide, even when you dose by another one or by the whole blend. Push the blend far enough and the peptide riding along can land outside its own range.
My vial has a different ratio. Can I still use this?
Yes. Choose Custom blend and enter each peptide and its amount from your label, from 2 to 6 peptides. The link in your address bar keeps the whole recipe, so you can share it or come back to it.
Can I dose the peptides in a blend separately?
Not from one vial. If you want different amounts of each, they need separate vials. For a single peptide, use the reconstitution calculator.
