Researchers in Frontiers in bioengineering and biotechnology demonstrated that the peptide FOXO4-DRI reduces endothelial cell senescence by inhibiting the binding of FOXO4 to P53. This action activates the p53/BCL-2/Caspase-3 signaling pathway, suppressing aortic aging in mice.
