Every NAD+ protocol on file, 19 in all, labelled by where each number came from.
Timing: Morning. Later doses keep some people awake.
Note: No controlled human study has set a subQ dose. This is a guide convention for testing tolerance.
Note: Posters on r/Peptides who had a bad first reaction restart at 15 to 25 mg and build up.
Who: Study summarized in a 2026 review (Braidy 2018)
Who: 6 clients given NAD+ IV, compared with NR IV (Reyna 2026)
Note: Every NAD+ client had moderate to severe infusion symptoms that ended when the drip ended. Mean infusion time was 97 minutes against 37 for NR.
Note: Based on a 500 mg in 10 mL spray (50 mg/mL, 5 mg per 0.1 mL spray). No human study has measured blood NAD+ after a nasal dose; the only recent intranasal paper is in mice.
Note: A sample schedule from one guide. Another lists 50 to 200 mg by nasal spray or under the tongue without a schedule. No human data on either route.
Timing: Morning.
Note: Keep each shot at 1 mL or less per site and split bigger doses. No human subQ NAD+ study has been published.
Timing: Morning. Push slowly, over 5 to 10 seconds or longer.
Note: Starts with a 50 mg assessment dose, then rises about 25 mg at a time (50, 75, 100 mg) if tolerated. Keep the weekly total near 300 mg without further evaluation. This guide says NAD+ does not have to be cycled.
Note: The guide does not say how many weeks each step lasts. It also notes there is no published human dose for daily injection.
Timing: Morning.
Note: Weekly totals here run far past the roughly 300 mg a week ceiling other guides use.
Timing: Morning.
Note: One guide's loading scheme and the top of the published home range. Guides cap each shot at 1 mL per site, so big doses get split across sites.
Timing: Morning is near universal.
Note: Commonly reported on r/Peptides, often as 100 mg a shot. One 3-year user settled at 60 to 75 mg 3 to 4 times a week after running 100 mg. Often run alongside a GLP-1 for daytime energy.
Note: A range r/Peptides posters say they have seen. One user with chronic fatigue reported 150 mg daily, injecting about 30 mg, pausing 1 to 2 minutes, then finishing over 3 to 5 minutes.
Note: A registered trial is testing 100 mg NAD+ in 2 mL bacteriostatic water by IM, subQ and IV push against nicotinamide riboside and placebo. No results are posted yet.
Timing: Infused over about 2 to 4 hours per session.
Note: Most sessions are 250 to 500 mg, with some clinics going to 500 to 1,000 mg. Start the drip at 1 to 2 mg per minute and speed up only as tolerated. Mixed IV bags are used within 24 hours.
Note: One guide uses 500 mg 2 to 3 times a week for 2 weeks. Another describes 8 infusions of 1,000 mg across 4 weeks.
Timing: Each infusion runs 4 to 8 hours. Start at 1 to 2 mg per minute.
Note: Multi-day IV programs for withdrawal and neurodegenerative use are offered by clinics and pharmacies. No controlled trial backs this use.
Who: 8 healthy men on NAD+ and 3 on saline (Grant 2019)
Note: Plasma NAD+ did not rise for the first 2 hours, as if cleared as fast as it went in, then rose 398% by 6 hours. No adverse events were reported.

Calculate with this peptideYour vial, your water, your dose: NAD+ in syringe units, with the math shown.Diluent: Bacteriostatic water
Water volumes sources use: 2.5 mL, 3 mL, 5 mL, 7.5 mL, 10 mL
The most repeated mix is 500 mg with 5 mL, which makes 100 mg/mL so 1 unit on a U-100 syringe is 1 mg. Posters use 3 to 5 mL for 500 mg and say more water stings less. Strong mixes crystallize in the fridge: one user got crystals at 200 mg/mL, and replies blame anything above about 250 mg/mL when cold. Use more water.
Most guides say 5 mL. That makes 100 mg/mL, so 1 unit on a U-100 insulin syringe is 1 mg and a 50 mg dose is 50 units. Some guides use 3 mL, which makes about 167 mg/mL and gets close to the strength where crystals become a problem in the fridge. Use the calculator for any other mix.
Most home subQ use sits at 25 to 100 mg a shot. Guides start around 25 mg twice a week, and 50 mg 3 times a week is where most home plans land. Raise about 25 mg at a time if it goes well. No human study has set a subQ dose, so all of this is convention.
Two to three times a week is the norm. Some guides go daily, at 100 to 250 mg, and one guide runs a 16-week daily ramp. Weekly totals across guides range from 50 mg to 1,750 mg, which shows how loose the convention is.
About 4 weeks in the fridge by convention. Guides range from 7 to 30 days, and none has stability data. Toss it if it turns yellow or brown, cloudy or grainy.
Pharmacy guidance starts around 20 mg and works up toward 100 mg, and puts about 300 mg a week subQ as the ceiling without further evaluation. One competitor guide uses the same 300 mg figure.
