Scalp serum
Who: Community topical practice as summarized by one guide
Timing: Keep minoxidil and vitamin C to a different time of day.
Note: The guide says topical use can run continuously without cycling.
Also known as: Copper tripeptide-3 · AHK copper · Alanyl-histidyl-lysine copper · L-Alanyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine-Cu2+ · Ala-His-Lys-Cu

Every AHK-Cu protocol on file, 11 in all, labelled by where each number came from. 1 have titration steps, each step is worked out in U-100 units for a 10 mg vial + 2 mL water.
Who: Community topical practice as summarized by one guide
Timing: Keep minoxidil and vitamin C to a different time of day.
Note: The guide says topical use can run continuously without cycling.
Note: One review says commercial serums sit around 2 to 5%, with a formulation ceiling near 10%. No approved clinical dose exists.
Who: r/Peptides users mixing raw powder into a hyaluronic acid or hair serum
Note: Reported mixes: 1 g per 100 mL of serum for 1%, with one user putting 0.3 mL on the hairline and temples; another uses 0.4% at about 1 mL for the whole head; another says up to 2% is usual.
Who: A hair serum sold as following the Anela protocol, reported on the Tressless forum
Note: 1% AHK-Cu alongside 6% GHK-Cu in the same serum. The poster also took 2 to 3 mg of GHK-Cu daily, dermastamped weekly and used ketoconazole shampoo, so results cannot be pinned on the peptide. Another r/tressless user ran a 4% plus 4% blend.
Who: One guide's measurement reference. The same page says no validated injectable protocol exists and topical use is the real route.
| When | Dose | U-100 units (10 mg vial + 2 mL water) |
|---|---|---|
| Weeks 1 to 4 | 250 mcg | 5 units · 0.05 mL |
| Weeks 5 to 8 | 350 mcg | 7 units · 0.07 mL |
| Weeks 9 to 12 | 500 mcg | 10 units · 0.1 mL |
Note: From a 10 mg vial in 2 mL (5 mg/mL): 5, 7 and 10 units on a U-100 syringe. The page says this model mirrors the 200 to 500 mcg a topical scalp serum delivers per application.
Who: Beginner 100 mcg, moderate 250 mcg, aggressive 500 mcg; one guide reports these as community consensus and says the doses are borrowed from GHK-Cu
Note: From a 5 mg vial in 1 mL (5,000 mcg/mL): 2 units for 100 mcg, 5 units for 250 mcg.
Note: The guide says this comes from informal research and vendor guidance, not a clinical standard.
Note: The page does not name the route; it sits beside the page's injection reconstitution steps. The 12 to 24 week cycle is the page's general figure for hair.
Who: r/Peptides users who inject it
Note: Users copy the GHK-Cu dose (1 to 2 mg a day, start at 1 mg); one says the sterile version runs 1 to 3 mg or so. One r/tressless user logged 2 mg AHK-Cu plus 2 mg GHK-Cu injections. Others in the same threads say not to inject it at all.
Who: Practitioner scalp injections, per one calculator site
Note: Injected into the scalp skin, not under it. No study backs a dose.

Injection vials hold too little for a scalp serum; topical users buy raw cosmetic powder by the gram instead. Raw powder is not sterile, so it is not for injection or microneedling. One guide warns that a 50 mg vial in 2 mL is too concentrated for microgram doses: 100 mcg would be 0.4 units, too small to measure.
Published numbers range from 50 mcg to 5 mg, a 100 fold spread: 50 to 200 mcg daily, 100 to 500 mcg daily (reported as community consensus), 250 to 500 mcg titrated over 12 weeks, or 1 to 5 mg two to three times a week. Users who inject usually copy GHK-Cu at 1 to 2 mg a day.
Guides use 2 mL for 10 mg (5 mg/mL) or 1 mL for 5 mg (5 mg/mL). One guide warns that a 50 mg vial is too concentrated for microgram doses; one r/Peptides user mixed a 50 mg vial with 3 mL.
