How it is thought to work. Eloralintide is a 37-amino-acid amylin analog with a C20 fatty-acid chain that binds albumin and stretches its half-life to about two weeks. In cell assays it was about 12 times more active at the human amylin 1 receptor than at the calcitonin receptor. Amylin signaling tells the brain a meal is ending and slows stomach emptying. It does not act on GLP-1 receptors. In rats it caused less taste avoidance, a nausea marker, than cagrilintide.

Fridge at 2 to 8 °C, protected from light. The seller gives no use-within period.
Fridge at 2 to 8 °C and use within about 4 weeks per one guide; another says no discard period has been established. Do not shake, avoid freeze-thaw.

Mixing. Trial publications do not describe mixing research powder. PeptideDosages calls its 1 mL preparation a worked calculation, not a trial formulation. Trial doses run to 9 mg, so a 10 mg vial holds about one high dose; plan water for an easy draw.
Lilly's own combination (EloraTZP). In type 2 diabetes, eloralintide 9 mg plus tirzepatide 15 mg gave 23.3% weight loss at 48 weeks vs 14.8% on tirzepatide alone, with more people stopping for side effects. A co-formulation goes into phase 3.
Some retatrutide users on Reddit plan to add eloralintide for appetite control after seeing the trial data. No trial has tested the pair.
Two phase 1 studies, a 263-person 48-week phase 2 in obesity, and a 367-person phase 2 in type 2 diabetes (press release so far). ClinicalTrials.gov lists five ENLIGHTEN phase 3 trials (ENLIGHTEN-1, 2, 3, 4 and 6), all still running with no results yet. No data exist on research vials.
Under FDA-regulated trials; not approved yet.
Not FDA approved. Eloralintide is investigational: Lilly is running phase 3 trials (ENLIGHTEN-1 started February 2026, primary completion estimated March 2028). Drugs@FDA lists no product containing it as of 2026-10-24. Research-labeled vials are not Lilly's product.
Not named on FDA's list of bulk substances that may pose safety risks in compounding (current 04/22/2026). WADA's 2026 Prohibited List does not name eloralintide or amylin analogues; as an unapproved drug it may fall under the non-approved substances class (S0). Unconfirmed.
WADA: Not confirmed
A once-weekly amylin drug from Eli Lilly (code LY3841136). It mimics amylin, a fullness hormone, and favors the amylin 1 receptor over the calcitonin receptor. It is not a GLP-1 drug.
No. It is in phase 3 trials (ENLIGHTEN), and Drugs@FDA lists no product containing it as of October 24, 2026. ENLIGHTEN-1's primary completion is estimated for March 2028.
In the 48-week phase 2 trial, -9% at 1 mg, -12% at 3 mg, -18% at 6 mg and -20% at 9 mg, vs -0.4% on placebo. In people with type 2 diabetes, eloralintide alone reached -12.3% at 6 mg.
Phase 2 used 1, 3, 6 and 9 mg once weekly, plus two escalation arms (3 to 6 to 9 mg in 4-week steps, and 6 mg for 20 weeks then 9 mg). Phase 1 went up to 12 mg weekly for 12 weeks. No dose is approved.
Nausea and fatigue lead, and both rise with dose: at 9 mg, 33% nausea and 43% fatigue vs 14% and 12% on placebo. The trial registry also lists vomiting, constipation, hair loss and slower heart rate in some people at higher doses.
In phase 2, people who started at 6 mg had 64% nausea. People who climbed 3 to 6 to 9 mg had 25%, while still losing 16% of their weight.
Eloralintide favors the amylin 1 receptor; cagrilintide also hits the calcitonin receptor. Eloralintide's half-life is about 13 to 15 days vs about 7 to 8 for cagrilintide. In rats eloralintide caused less taste avoidance. No human head-to-head trial exists.
In separate phase 2 trials at 48 weeks, retatrutide 12 mg reached -24.2% and eloralintide 9 mg -20%. They work on different hormones and were never tested against each other.
Lilly's combination of eloralintide with tirzepatide. In a 48-week type 2 diabetes trial, eloralintide 9 mg plus tirzepatide 15 mg gave -23.3% vs -14.8% on tirzepatide 15 mg alone. Lilly plans phase 3 of a single-injection version by the end of 2026.
Its half-life was 310 to 366 hours (about 13 to 15 days) across single doses in phase 1, with levels peaking 72 to 132 hours after a shot.
Dosing guides use 1 mL (10 mg/mL) or 2 mL (5 mg/mL). More water makes small doses easier to draw. The trials did not publish a mixing method for research powder.
Sellers list the powder at -20 °C. After mixing, keep it in the fridge at 2 to 8 °C and away from light. One dosing guide says use it within about 4 weeks; another says no discard period has been established for research vials.
On r/Retatrutide, users report kits that tested with no eloralintide at all, or with a different drug such as semaglutide or cagrilintide. Lilly's product is only available in trials.
