Who: 20 adults with refractory CIRS after water-damaged building exposure, open-label, single clinic

Note: Patients had already completed the earlier protocol steps. Doses were later titrated down from four a day to none to find the minimum effective dose, then back up. Lipase did not rise and nobody dropped out for side effects. No placebo group.

Timing: First dose given in clinic, with lipase checked before and shortly after.

Note: Started only after mold exposure is removed and earlier steps are done. Some severe cases ran higher daily totals under closer monitoring.

Note: Reported as the final step of the Shoemaker protocol, after passing VCS testing and clearing MARCoNS.
