WADA S0
Also called S0 non-approved substances, WADA prohibited list, Banned in sport
The catch-all class on the World Anti-Doping Agency list: any substance with no current approval for human therapeutic use is banned in sport at all times, even if it is not named.
In more detail
The 2026 Prohibited List defines S0 as any pharmacological substance not covered by the other sections and with no current approval by any government health authority for human therapeutic use. BPC-157 is named as an example. Because it is open-ended, unapproved research peptides can fall under S0 without being listed by name.
Other peptides are banned under more specific sections. Growth hormone releasing factors, GHRH analogs and GH secretagogues sit under S2, for example.
Why it matters
If you are a tested athlete, "not on the list" does not mean allowed. Each compound page on this site shows its WADA status.
