5-Amino-1MQ
5 amino 1mq · 5-Amino-1-methylquinolinium · 5-Amino-1-methylquinolinium iodide
5-Amino-1MQ is a small synthetic molecule, not a peptide, that blocks the enzyme NNMT. It is sold beside peptides, mostly as 50 mg oral capsules and sometimes as injectable vials. In obese mice it cut body weight and fat without changing food intake. No human trial exists, so every human dose you see is community or guide practice, and oral and injected doses sit on very different scales.

Adamax is a nootropic peptide sold as a longer-lasting Semax. Its developer describes it as Semax with an acetyl cap on the front and an adamantane group on the back, and has said it launched with no research of any kind. We found no human study, no animal study and no pharmacokinetic data. Two versions circulate, about 984 Da without adamantane and about 1032 Da with it, and some buyers report lab tests showing plain N-acetyl Semax. Every dose on this page is a vendor suggestion or a user report.

Adipotide
FTPP · Fat-Targeted Proapoptotic Peptide · Prohibitin-TP01
Adipotide (FTPP, prohibitin-TP01) is a designed peptide that homes to the blood vessels feeding white fat and switches on cell death there, so the fat loses its blood supply. Obese monkeys lost 7 to 15% of body weight in 4 weeks. The same study found dose-dependent kidney changes that mostly reversed after stopping. A first human trial was terminated after 4 patients with no results posted, so every human dose in use today comes from community practice.

Cagrilintide
Cagri · Cag · Cagri peptide
Cagrilintide is a long-acting, lab-made version of amylin, the fullness hormone your pancreas releases with insulin after meals. Novo Nordisk added a fatty-acid chain so one shot lasts about a week. It hits a different receptor family from GLP-1 drugs, so most people use it as an add-on to semaglutide, tirzepatide or retatrutide. Paired with semaglutide it is CagriSema, which has phase 3 data and a pending FDA filing. Cagrilintide on its own is not approved anywhere.

The two hit different fullness signals, so the effects add up: 20.4% average weight loss at 68 weeks in REDEFINE 1. Novo filed for FDA approval in December 2025. Until a decision lands, the only versions outside trials are research blends sold as premixed vials, which are not Novo's formulation.

Selank and Semax premixed in one vial, usually 5 mg of each in a 10 mg vial or 10 mg of each in 20 mg. Semax is run for focus and drive, Selank to take the edge off it. Guides dose 200 to 500 mcg of blend once or twice a day. The fixed ratio is the catch: you cannot move one without the other. No trial has tested the pair.

Semaglutide
Ozempic · Wegovy · Wegovy HD
Semaglutide is a once-weekly GLP-1 receptor agonist from Novo Nordisk, a modified gut hormone built to last about a week in the blood. It is FDA approved as Ozempic, Rybelsus and Ozempic tablets for type 2 diabetes and as Wegovy for weight, heart risk and MASH, in weekly shots, daily tablets and a 7.2 mg high dose. Many people instead use compounded pharmacy vials or research-labeled powder, which have no trial data of their own. In STEP 1, 2.4 mg weekly averaged about 15% weight loss, and about two-thirds of it came back within a year of stopping.

MEHFPGP · Met-Glu-His-Phe-Pro-Gly-Pro · ACTH(4-10) analog
A seven amino acid peptide (Met-Glu-His-Phe-Pro-Gly-Pro) made from a short piece of ACTH, with a Pro-Gly-Pro tail added for stability. Its label says it has none of ACTH's hormone activity. Russia registers it as 0.1% and 1% nasal drops for stroke recovery and brain function. People run it for focus and drive, by nose or injection. Human data are small Russian studies, mostly in stroke. Not approved in the US.

Sermorelin
Sermorelin acetate · GRF 1-29 NH2 · GHRH (1-29)
Sermorelin is the first 29 amino acids of your body's own GHRH, the shortest piece that still works. It tells the pituitary to release growth hormone in its normal pulses. It was once an FDA-approved drug (Geref) for children with GH deficiency, then pulled from the market for commercial reasons, not safety. Today it is a clinic and self-use staple at 200 to 300 mcg before bed.

SLU-PP-332
SLU-PP 332 · SLU PP 332 · SLUPP-332
SLU-PP-332 is not a peptide. It is a small synthetic molecule (290 g/mol) that switches on the estrogen-related receptors ERRα, β and γ, the genes muscle turns on during endurance training, which is why it gets called an exercise mimetic. In mice it made animals run about 70% longer and cut weight about 12% in obese mice. No human has taken it in a trial, and its own developers say it is not orally bioavailable, though most of it is sold as tablets.

SNAP-8
Acetyl octapeptide-3 · Acetyl glutamyl heptapeptide-3 · Snap 8
An eight amino acid cosmetic peptide, also called acetyl octapeptide-3, sold for expression lines. It is a longer cousin of Argireline. Every human study tested it inside a product with other actives (microneedle patches, a serum), and no study has tested it injected. Most people use it as a serum; a few guides print injection doses anyway.

Somatropin (HGH)
Somatropin · HGH · Human growth hormone
Recombinant human growth hormone: the full 191-amino-acid hormone, FDA approved since 1987 for children's growth disorders, adult GH deficiency and HIV wasting. Most people searching HGH want it for anti-aging, fat loss or bodybuilding, which is off-label, and US law makes distributing it for those uses a crime. Label doses are in mg; street vials are in IU, at 3 IU per mg.

SS-31
SS31 · SS 31 · Elamipretide
A tiny four amino acid peptide that sticks to cardiolipin inside mitochondria. As elamipretide (Forzinity) it is the only longevity peptide here with an FDA approval, for Barth syndrome only. Trials use 40 mg a day; most users run 0.5 to 10 mg for energy, endurance and longevity. Fatigue is the most-posted complaint. Research vials are not the approved drug.

Survodutide
BI 456906 · Surv
Survodutide is a once-weekly injected peptide from Boehringer Ingelheim, licensed from Zealand Pharma, that switches on two receptors: GLP-1 and glucagon. In the phase 3 SYNCHRONIZE-1 trial it cut body weight 12.2 to 13.0% at 76 weeks on the main analysis, and up to 16.6% for people who stayed on it. It also strips liver fat and is in phase 3 for MASH. It is approved nowhere, so every vial sold outside a trial is grey market.

TB-500
TB500 · TB 500 · Thymosin beta-4 fragment
In the analytical and anti-doping literature, TB-500 is Ac-LKKTETQ: a 7 amino acid fragment (residues 17 to 23, about 889 Da) of the 43 amino acid protein thymosin beta-4. What ships in a vial labelled TB-500 varies. People run it for soft-tissue recovery, usually with BPC-157, on a loading then maintenance schedule. Every human trial used the full protein, not the fragment.

Tesamorelin
Tesamorelin acetate · TH9507 · Tesa
Tesamorelin is the only GHRH analog with current FDA approval. It makes your pituitary release more of your own growth hormone, which raises IGF-1. In Phase 3 trials it cut visceral belly fat by about 15% in adults with HIV-related fat gain. That approval and that data are why it stands apart from every other GH peptide. Off label, people run it for belly fat and recomposition.

Thymalin
Timalin · Тималин · Thymus extract
A Russian immune drug made from calf thymus: a mix of small peptides, not one molecule. Registered in Russia for immune deficiency at 5 to 20 mg into muscle daily for 3 to 10 days. Its fame comes from Khavinson's longevity cohort, which reported half the mortality with thymalin and lower still when combined with epithalamin, the extract behind epitalon. That data comes from one research group and has not been replicated in the West.

Thymosin Alpha-1
Ta1 · TA-1 · Thymalfasin
A 28 amino acid thymus peptide that nudges T-cell immunity. Unlike most research peptides it has a label dose: as Zadaxin, approved outside the US for hepatitis B and C at 1.6 mg twice a week. Big trials are mixed: a 1,106-patient sepsis trial was null and the Cochrane hepatitis B review rates the evidence very low certainty. Not FDA approved; an FDA advisory committee voted 17 to 4 against compounding it.

Thymosin beta-4
Thymosin beta 4 · Tβ4 · TB4
Thymosin beta-4 is the full 43 amino acid protein (about 4,963 Da) that cells use to hold actin in reserve for movement and repair. It has real human trials: IV safety studies, wound gels and eye drops. TB-500 is a 7 amino acid piece of it, and sellers use the names interchangeably. No trial has tested it as a subQ injection.

Tirzepatide
LY3298176 · Mounjaro · Zepbound
Tirzepatide is a once-weekly injectable peptide from Lilly that hits two gut-hormone receptors, GIP and GLP-1. It is FDA approved as Mounjaro for type 2 diabetes and as Zepbound for weight management and sleep apnea with obesity. In SURMOUNT-1, people on 15 mg lost about 21% of body weight. Outside the label, people run compounded or research vials, slow titrations, microdoses and split doses. Those off-label patterns have no trials behind them. Online sellers often call it "GLP-2", which is a nickname for second generation, not a different drug.

VIP
Vasoactive intestinal peptide · Vasoactive intestinal polypeptide · Aviptadil
A 28-amino-acid neuropeptide the body makes in the gut, brain, lungs and immune system. It relaxes blood vessels and airways and calms inflammation. Most people who use it do so as a compounded nasal spray, the final step of the Shoemaker protocol for mold illness (CIRS). Its human evidence is real but patchy: an approved ED injection in Europe, small inhaled studies, and a large COVID trial that failed.
